Patty learned how to edit on those monster 3/4″ machines that nobody in their 20′s and 30′s has any clue ever existed. They were behemoth linear editing machines. That means that if you were half an hour into editing a show and realized you had made a mistake in the first minute, you would either have to start all over again or take a bullet and go one generation down in resolution. Patty stopped editing until nonlinear editing with digital tape came into fashion. In addition to the videos she produces and edits for clients, she loves to cut music videos.
